I know that area quite well. Lots of fun rides and trails.

I did the White Rim trail last October solo. Onion creek would be a fun one. Hells revenge might be challenging to a S10 in spots.

Late September-October is a good time.

What are the best months to see the White Rim? Not too hot or wet?

On your way to everywhere, , Iowa
Anyone wanting to Super Tenere the White Rim, It's not just a walk in the park ride.
Be prepared , Lots of water, It can take all day on a Beast. Speed limit is 15 mph all the way.
Can really wear you out.

I am very interested too. If I have enough notice I could probably take time off this fall.

I was on my DR650 in 2013 and stayed in Moab with the intention of doing White Rim. However, It was Late June, over 100 degrees and I was by myself. So I headed West to Yosemite instead.

For those who have done this on a Super Tenere, what tires did you use? My new to me'18 is still wearing the stock battlewings. I am thinking that if it is slick they may not be the best for a trip like this.

I love Moab, but unfotunately, I didn't have the balls to try anything more extensive than Shafer Canyon Road while I was riding two up.

I rode the white rim late October of last year. I was on stock battlewings. It did fine on them. After having knobbies on the he bike they are much preferable.

Just a reminder that they only let a certain number of vehicles on the trail a day. You have to register a day or two in advance of when you want to ride. 9EE46CF6-1A13-478E-B661-F2E0F83C4913.jpegCF5F0C3B-B5E3-4C46-8E60-0DDE09B95623.jpeg

Thanks Mak10.
If I do go on another trip this fall, I might be in need of a new rear at least about that time. I just picked up at the end of last April, so still less than 4,000 miles on the stock tires. Rear is starting to get a little square already. It would all depend on how much riding I can get in the next couple of months.
