You win Steve!!!
Now, ask your children to refrain from hanky panky in June<>July.
No May-babies next year!

(Don't know if my math is right. All my insane kids were spawned by others. :)

Oh, and Defekticon,

Offend Limey?
Good luck with that.
Patrick desensitizes Limey. ;)

Congrats Steve. A great reason to skip the Camp N Ride...this year.

Hello Bruce, my good friend and donor of spare parts.

Yess, it would be great if you someday come to Chile together with BigBob and we have nice travel. Would be great to know crazy gringos., since I am also one of those specimens.
I can go to the US and accompany you …. without mud please, since my bike has traumas with it.
How was your trip to West Virginia? How many was the group? I hope you had a terrific time. Nice what the group did for the children.
Has somebody written a nice summary of the whole trip ....with pictures?

Is your Supertenere running fine?
At my side, I am still waiting for Yamaha Chile to receives the spare parts to fix the motor.

A big thank you to the group of crazies I was privileged to spend the week with. Before Romney, Trikepilot/Harrison is the Host With The Most and your hospitality was wonderful. Thanks for inviting us into your home. Patrick is always the life of every party, TrueGrip with his cool depth and patience, my buddy Dirt_Dad, and of course Snakebitten, which was NOT a name I wanted to use in front of the kids. LOL

And thanks to everyone else who was willing & able to come. I haven't had a chance to get into the shirt stuff yet, but the donations to the Potomac Center are more than $2,600 so far and that number will go up. We got to meet the kids and it just grabbed our hearts to see how excited they got to sit on the bikes on the center stands, press the starter buttons, and blow the horns. For those not there to meet them, these are true orphans who may never be adopted, as they will continue to need help even after their bodies have grown up. Like Limey said, there were a lot of moist eyes among us.

This event has always been the weekend before Mothers Day and had perfect weather for the first four years, before the rain of the last two. In fact, the weather was so beautiful after the last items we do to close on Sunday, I just stood by the fence for a while gazing out at the green hills.

I've got some more photos and we've got some ideas for improvements for next year to run by you all. I'll email with those who couldn't pick up their shirts or asked to pay postage and have them mailed, but it's now after 11pm and I'm going to bed.

Well you guys made an impression. First thing yesterday morning Checkwrecks and I had a note from Larry (GM) at Romney. It said:

"Kevin and I as well as our staff want to say thanks to everyone that came out this weekend and we appreciate how the whole group is respectful to our staff and our property, and charitable to the Potomac Center."

This year, as every other, the property was spotless when everyone was gone. Kevin (owner) told me on Thursday he knows he could not have any other group of riders (sport bike, cruiser...) and expect that kind of result.

Larry also asked for feedback. Please post here any suggestions you have for making this event better. We will make sure they get to Kevin and Larry. I know they are also interested in feedback from the group on this year's food vendor.

Good thing?
Absolutely!

Why you ask? Ya thinkin of changing or something?
You should know your mom told us "he's always been like that" O:)

I'm in some state park in Ohio. Got the place nearly to myself.
(still wet. Will I ever get a bike down and play on the rest of this trip? Or just continue posing?)

Anyways Patrick, it's very much a different camp without ya.
Quiet. Peaceful. Sipping espresso and reading a good book.
I kind of miss you already.

You guys need me there to help with guidance.
Not admitting to anything except without you, we didn't have anyone that can ride with one hand on the bars and the other holding a camera.
That, and Patrick has a tendency to pick his back up as fast as possible. I suspect it's a documentation avoidance maneuver.

Without saying anything about the other attendees, I must say, snakebitten has such a great aura/energy surrounding him. I've never met him, but he comes across as such a genuine and friendly person. I could probably learn a thing or two from him about how to live my life. In he meantime, we are lucky to have him around ...

(No, snakebitten hasn't hacked my account .. lol)

The Super Tenere attracts a great crowd. Never met an owner that I didn't like.

Aww shucks. Kind words from a San Diego Tenere brother. Thanks man.

I gotta tell ya though, it's difficult to have a complaint in this world when even "work" is hardly a burden.
My office this morning was decorated by the best!!!!
Modern life is simply unimaginable to our forefathers. Right?

As my close brothers have recently coined the phrase, The Dude is abiding this morning. ;)
