But ol' spklbuk knows what he has seen with his own eyes...lead trikepilot one thing, trail trikepilot...turn other way at first fork! ::024:: Note to self...if in Romney...follow DD. ::008::
Yeah, I don't have a strong enough skid plate on the Tenere to go where Trikepilot took people. Considering the plate damage some reported I may have been sitting in a puddle of oil.

I'm happy to take you out, Jim. But something feels strange about me leading the guy that knows every damn road in WV. Impossible to surprise you. I did find Olivet Church Road to be a real treat. Only a medium strength skid plate required there. Although I hit so hard once on Canyon Ridge I had to check if I had oil escaping. All good.

You should have been there.

And I really am the old geezer of the group
I really am "58", unlike some in this group that only claim to be.

I'm not 58, damn it!! It's what I get for working with 23 year olds.

I didn't realize you guys were riding with Ted Nugent. Clever of him to wear that Willie disguise. ;D I saw right through it.

I rounded up by a mere 14 days. But yes, you will ALWAYS be older than me. So there.
I can't catch you in more ways than one.

I think you have passed me up in way more ways Snake.
The only thing I know how to do is ride.
Your way more malty talented, and a lot nicer too. ::26::

Obviously, TrikePilot is the right man for the job!
We just need to let him clear his plate of his current goings-on.
That's a great idea - no doubt trikepilot's the man to take the lead. You guys look like you had a helluva time and due to that, I'm extremely jealous!

Here's what goes with me every time I swing a leg over.

Everything in there I know how to use, which is probably the most important part IMO! Weighs just over 2lbs  Sand in the vajajay will require you to stop at the closest Walgreens.

See Karson? You shoulda come. You missed your calling. We coulda used your skills in our group.

I think we damaged more riders and bikes. You carry a toolkit that is a match to that first aid kit? :)

Karson that's a good looking set up. Where did you pick that stuff up at? I like that clotting sponge and splint.

Thank the man above. I thought my lack of talent kept me from riding with you children. But now I know that at 62 I can just sit in one of Snakes chairs and listen to the lies and pull out the nuggets of wisdom! Remember to respect your elders.

I'll have a chair for you BigBob, SIR, every time.
I liked you the first time I was under your tarp in the rain. Child you do not have to suck up. But then again, I know you Texans have to forgive the rest of us for having more than one star on our flags.

I'm sure there's dozens of stories that only make sense in the context of actually being there. In fact, that's almost a guarantee! But ask and ye shall receive. Fills a Wolfman peak tailbag about half way:

TrueGrip! I believe I snagged it all from Amazon for less than a $100. I think most premade kits have everything you WON'T need in a serious incident, so picking things that might actually save a life & limb aside from a little scrape or burn was more important to me. Hope the digit's hangin' in there! ::008:: Hope you're behaving yourself!

Wow great looking tool kit too! I agree about the pre made kits I'm more interested in stoping bleeding and splinting an ankle or wrist. If it was too serious I'd turn on the spot and push the help button. You were missed but Iowa was well represented ::008:: You gotta see WV and meet Trikepilot next year, you'll really enjoy his adventures. Hope momma and baby are well.

Karson, do you carry a foot peg in that kit? It's not fun riding back out of the trails on the passenger peg. The factories sure don't take the beating of the woods and rocks.

That looks like a 1978 RM125C. I had a 1978 YZ125E; thus the user name. The RM had a more useable powerband but I was a Yamaha guy/kid coming off a 1976 YZ80. I wish I had some actual pictures of me and those bikes but my mom predeceased my dad and he threw-out a box of old pictures he deemed clutter. :-[ Thanks for the great memory.

I have a few more.
I bought one just like this new 37 years ago, one of my best bikes ever.
Near the parts counter at Romney.
