Wives are definitely welcome regardless of what they are riding, or even if not riding anything. There were at least two last year, both of whom did not ride but found other activities. I marked both of you down as maybe + wife so other wives can see it's a safe group.

As far as the no trails ride...at the moment I've had a few people over on ADV say they were willing to lead a ride, but the more people willing to lead a ride the better the options will be. So far I am the only definite guaranteed ride leader, but I do hope the ADV guys and some others will be ready with a ride. Also, we had some people last year decided to head off in their own little groups of 2 or 3. There is plenty of exploring in the area for solo or small groups.

At some point I'll dig up some of the suggested rides around there area, so people can download, research and anticipate all there is to see.

Looking like the group is growing this year. Should be great. I know Romney is excited to see it grow. They go above and beyond to make us feel welcomed, and would like to see this grow into an ever expanding event.

I'm sorry to hear you can't make it. But it sounds like you're a stand up guy that has something which will be more meaningful that weekend. You have my respect.

I don't have my girls that weekend, so I'm definitely in and looking forward to it!

I've been wondering about you. Glad you can make it. It will be my first chance to see a Tenere with over 150K miles.

I'm looking forward to the dirt ride! The one you put together last year was great! Should cross the 110k mark tomorrow. 150k by May is not looking too likely at the moment, but for great reasons! :)

Please tell me you're retired...I feel good when I log 15K a year, but I'm still working full time.....

You are getting your money's worth out of the bike for sure!

Back on topic, I"m planning to attend, may take advantage to ride off to some fly fishing in the area versus day rides.

MGB,
Retired? I know that would make more sense, wouldn't it?

But nope. As I understand it he does it the other way. He gets off of work on a Friday and visits somebody in say, Louisiana, and then, get this, is back to work on Monday!

The dude can ride! (while we sleep)

I might be able to make this as well. I'm already signed up for Rick's RDV which is 2 weeks later, but I will see if I can slip this by swmbo

This morning we moved over the 50 potential participants mark. Keep it growing. ::012::

And again, if you know this area, please consider leading a ride on Saturday. We going to have a good size group and we can use all the ride leaders we can get.

Is it alright if I camped at the shop on Thursday evening?

Awesome, glad you're coming. I don't even need to ask them on that request. Yes, I'm positive it will be fine. Sails2xxs has gorilla camped there several times before a service appointment. I can't promise the showers will be setup on Thursday, but I don't see anyone complaining about you being there. But I will let Larry know to anticipate some early campers.

Sounds like it's going to be a good one guys. 50! I think we had 6 at the first one :D

Great job Dirt_Dad keeping everyone motivated - they will thank you later!

Make sure to visit Kasey, my most favourite WV waitress ever, and tip her well!

Thanks, Trevor. Safe to say none of this would be happening without you kick starting it back in 2012. As far as I'm concerned it's still a dcstrom creation.

If you count everyone that is saying they are bringing someone, some group, or a spouse with them I believe we're over 60 and it's still only mid-January. Should be a good event this year.

Not sure what to tell you about Kasey. A bunch of us went there last year, but she was not working that morning. Very disappointing. At least her picture still hangs on the wall.
