I tapped into the high beam wiring on the upper right side of the bike. I had to take the side panel off and then the colored plastic above it. I have a 2012 so I am not sure if it would be the same but should be in the same location. Sorry I can't remember the color wire that you need to look for. I did this years ago and just don't remember off hand.

This should help. If you get an eastern beaver fuse block it’s plug and play. gives you switched and un switched fused circuits. I took the more difficult route. Made a custom plug for my lights. It was fine. There wires one hot un switched one switched hot and a ground. One shot deal. No room for expansion . Well wanted my GPS hot all the time and my electric heated gear switched so my battery won’t get nailed by accident. Went back and installed a eastern beaver pc8. It plugs in the aux port. Install a snap. And future installs also a snap.
