Harbor Freight torque wrench and extended hex bit set. Did mine for the first time yesterday. Worked great.
I think the bit set was $15

Involute, could you give a link to the harbor freight extended hex bit set that you are talking about.

Thanks Gary

Many thanks, but maybe we are not talking about the same thing!! On my Super T, the spokes on both wheels, have 4 sided nuts (near the wheel center) that you turn with an open ended spanner to tighten the spokes. I have a Tusk Spoke torque wrench which I use on my dirt bikes, but doesn't have room to fit on the adjusting nuts of the super T. The link you provided seems to be to an extended star type allen key? I can't see how that could ever be used to tighten the spokes? Am I missing something?

Regards Gary

The spoke nipples on the super tenere have a hex socket on the end that you can use an Allen key to tighten. This is in addition to the traditional spanner flats on the sides.

the spoke nipples do indeed have a hex head on the end (never seen that before) made torquing the spokes very easy with a regular torque wrench, will save my spoke torque wrench for the dirt bike!! Thanks for all the help, the front spokes where all fine, but many of the rear spokes where very lose (this is on a new bike that has done only 2000 miles, so i would suggest everyone check their spokes!! I will now be checking them with every oil change!!

Old Rider, I'm from mexico will you sent them to mexico? any idea how much for shipping? USPS priority mail has work for me in the past!. still have some spokes? want a set I'm looking for 4 nipples since they were very tight and the hex was not able to loose them so the nipple was damage and need to be replaced.

Old Rider, Top Ten here in Texas. I currently have all my spokes in place: no missing spokes and everything seems to be tight. But I'd like to have spares on hand for both front and rear. Tell me what I need to know to get an appropriate set of spares for my bike. 2018 non-ES ST. Thanks. I have also PM'ed you.
