I have a Canadian S10 ES and I guess I'll need to swap speedo because I can't seem to find a way to make into Imperial!

As anybody had any dealing with that? I saw that you can get a new for $800 ish! I would prefer to find a used one!
First bike that won't allow me to switch between km and miles!

If you find the right person, who is dedicated to flashing, and has the right software, I assure you that he can change it
personally to me, on a Hemi 5.7 2016 ecu, whose ecu is "supposedly" encrypted, they erased the start security system, abs, traction control, etc. They only left injection + accelerator + ignition + transmission… ..so surely the change from Miles to Km must be loaded in the memory of the S10… .you just have to find the right person to make the change

Tks, I just have to find a shop that does it. Why are companies doing that? Little question why the traction control:cool:

I've already tried that and it doesn't work. I bought a new speedometer unit in USA and installed it on my Canadian spec bike, still couldn't switch between miles and Kms. I believe the switching software is in the ECU, so you'd have to replace it along with the speedometer and ignition switch and wire harness. Thousands of dollars in parts and a lot of work. Just mount a GPS to display miles and mph.

The Hemi, it was put in an old car. To avoid failures in the ecu, all those accessories that were not needed were deleted. Although the traction control is managed by the abs ecu, the engine ecu takes into account the wheel rotation sensors for some functions, such as the reduced gearbox coupling ... so to avoid any malfunction, they were simply eliminated (via software), everything that was not necessary

I second that on the GPS, plus the oem speedo's are off by about 10%. Like 10% faster then GPS, so when you think your fast, you actually are not LOL.
Great for resale, you can advertise the high mileage the bike truly doesn't have. WTF

Is this the model without the LCD screen, that has a unit function in the menu?
