Got these at O'Reilly's These are the one's you want! They work great! Never have bought in to sparkplug hype and usually bought OEM after trying one's in the 80's that made radical claims like the "splitfires" which made no difference....These really made a noticeable difference. Can't remember how much I paid, but it wasn't a lot. I called NGK myself and spoke with someone who knew something, and they recommended these. I did not want to attempt something with a wrong heat rating for our bikess and that is why I called.

Those will work but they are not the correct Iridium replacement to the OEM. Projected Iridium plugs are not available in the US. OEM plugs have a projected tip. The correct PN is this:

Have you ordered from them, Chris? I've never heard of them before. I just changed my plugs this month, but I put the non Iridium ones in.

I sure have. I'm thinking about changing mine to these new ones out along with air filter and throttle body sync. I know a lot of owners don't follow the service manual. But I do remember the service tech recommending me to do throttle body sync and plug change at the required schedule. The service manual actually recommends to only check the condition and gap of the plugs every 4,000 miles. I'm over 5,00 miles so I figure to change them out and do next replacement at valve adjustment time.

I know it's a bit pricy. OTOH I've seen specialty plugs for off road race bikes over 30.00 each. If you decide on the platinum ones it will be even cheaper. I checked very carefully and these are genuine NGK from Japan.

Well I just got my plugs. Could not find them anywhere in the US. I had to special order them from Japan. The price is about what you would pay here. With shipping its right at 72.00 for a set of 4. Just use PayPal. It will automatically covert into US currency. I ordered them on the 14th and got them on my doorstep the 24th.

I use NGK Iridium plugs in most everything I own. They simply last longer than any other plug. These projected tip plugs are really hard to find in Iridium style.

Please note the part number. There are two different CPR8EIX-9 plugs. One has the screw on tip and one does not. If the tip is solid and does not screw on that's a counterfeit. Almost all NGK plugs sold on Ebay and Amazon are fake.

The ones that cross over to the OEM CPR8EB-9 are these:View attachment 60429

4 plugs are now up to $87.00 shipped from Japan!
I guess this is the only reliable resource for NGK CPR8EAGP-9's?

"reliable"............... YES (that I know of)

I have told people about these plugs (locals), they ended up 'saving money' off Ebay even after I made them aware of the plugs possibly being fake......... They definitely were, I have saved the other boxes to compare. I can only lead the horse to water..... LOL

Just my .02: I run stock non-iridium plugs and change them annually (10K + miles /year), they show very little wear and I could not justify almost $100 USD to change them out to iridiums. Is there a major benefit to running those versus stock plugs? Help me understand.....

Silver.

if you do come over to Penang Malaysia, I got a set of CPR8EAGP-9 I can pass to you. I got it on a steal of a price at US$3.20 a piece. Mine is not due for change but purchased them as they were on specials. Got it from on-line stores.

It would be easy to source for this plugs in Thailand, Malaysia, Singapore and Indonesia because it is used on a very popular Moped, Yamaha LC135. But terminal nuts are needed as these G-Power plugs does not have them.
Hello how many u have in stock?
Thank you

I have the same plugs as posted above and have been using them for a couple of months. I'll 100% agree! I've bought in to spark plug gimmicks in the past and have NEVER noticed a difference until now! I highly recommend these plugs!

Edit: As I was: I used NGK Laser Iridium CR8EIB-9 (5258) I had called NGK and they said these were the equivalent for the American market I called NGK to see if there was a way to get the above spark plugs in America and they told me of the ones I listed as being the same.

a 150 mile review with these spark plugs. Bike does run smoother. It does feel like it pulls a little more and a little more power but.....not sure if it's my "butt dyno" telling me this. I tried to tell myself it was the butt dyno but it does feel slightly better. I don't know if this is possible (could be another butt dyno thing) but I swear I feel less engine braking?
Not sure could've been my ride and how and how long I was stopping but it did seem bike is runner a little hotter.
But the smoothness and idling smoother was definitely there. Not sure about gas mileage yet.
On my small ride back from the shop, after changing to NGK Iridium, i had the same impression as you. I even played a bit doing some "on/off" throttle opening....

I checked out NGK Indonesia looking for availability of CPR8EAGP found the new NGK line of Ruthenium Spark plugs.
Ruthenium CPR8EDX-9S
Not sure if it's better than Iridium or even G-Power in terms of sparks but it will last longer for sure.

I am a new owner of a used SuperTenere (2012). Went thru whole discussion while having Amazon.ca on another tab. My head is spinning from all the model numbers and equivalents . Does anyone have a link to reasonably priced 4 pack of genuine NGK or Denso iridium sparkplugs for XT1200Z on amazon.ca?

Thanks in advance.
