I’ve decided that as small as the jump boxes are it would be nice and easy to carry one. So now I’m shopping for one. I would like it to come with different cables such as clips and the connectors used on a battery tender.
Suggestions...

I've got this one (works well so far), but there has to be a million choices out there. I heard of some issues with the Antigravity ones splitting open seemingly often enough that I was dissuaded to go that route. Dunno if the one I bought is any better but ignorance is bliss I guess...

Thanks it looks like a good one but only has the alligator clips to jump an MC battery... I would like to find one with the capability to go through the battery tender plug. Or would that draw too much amperage for that cable? Hmmmm... anyone know?

DANGER WILL ROBINSON! That's a bad idea franky, those SAE tender plugs are not designed to handle the cold cranking amps needed to jump start an engine. You'll fry the wire and any other wires routed next to it. I don't think you will find any of these jump boxes equipped with an SAE plug that is intended to be used for jumping.

I've had a couple of the AntiGravity ones and no issues. If you buy an AntiGravity unit, buy it direct from them. There are a lot of counterfeit units floating around and that's the source of the problems you read about.

I’ve been using the Antigravity XP10 for almost 1 year now with no problems. I use it to run my Cpap machine while camping and charge it in my pannier while ridding.

I have a Red Fuel by Schumacher, $49 or less at Walmart, Amazon or Ebay.

I then bought a 10 guage battery pigtail with EC5 connector for direct jumping without clamps.

Agree that the SAE plugs are definitely not meant to handle starting current.

I'd also STRONGLY recommend carrying lithium batteries like this in some type of padding against shock and vibration. Even a padded mailing envelope would work. You really REALLY don't want one going bad in a pannier or topbox and vibration will do it!

I've got a few of these for carrying small converter boxes, I'd think they would work well for a jump box: http://www.pelican.com/us/en/product/cases/micro/1060

I was putting the hydraulic foot down on my gooseneck trailer and the battery went dead on it with the foot about 2" from the ground. I couldn't go back up. In a bind with no tools to take my truck battery out. So i decided to give my quickstart a try. FRIED IT IN ABOUT 20 SECONDS. I know. I'm a dumbass.
After I fried it. I found a #*% cresent wrench to pull my truck battery.

They make different sizes of the lithium quick start batteries. I bought a size that would start my 4.6L V8 in my F150 and carry that on the bike. I have started the truck several times with it, but you had better have a full or mostly full charge for it to work. I got a couple of starts before I learned to plug the quick start into the truck's cig lighter to re-charge while driving to where I was going. Had a bad battery in the truck and it took me a few days to verify and replace the truck's battery.

Unless you have limited space to carry one, I'd go for the highest amp rating one you can afford. Even at that, there's not too much difference in physical size between them. No such thing as too much power right?

The old antigravity xp3 had a cig plug. My new one doesn’t. I started my v8 ford with my old one 8 times in a row with the battery unhooked to test it new. I have a friend that works at a hardware store. He bought 2 there(cheap). They are junk. One didn’t work out the box
