Good luck with the GSA. If you have time could you compare it to the XT?
The servo brakes kept me away from the 1150 series, the braking was very grabby and till 2004 the ABS had a nasty habit of kicking in when braking over bumps, leading to some Oh Shit moments. They were much improved on the 1200s but I still didn't like the idea of being left with 20 percent residual braking if the servo system failed.Xdriver said:I think if I ever went back to BMW it's going to be an 1150 GSA as well. Used and broken in. I'll just plan on an FD replacement in my costs.
Enjoy.

When I sold my Harly for the Ten, and older friend pointed out that getting rid of the Harley didn't make me a bad guy. It made me a guy who likes to ride. Happy trails.kraigd said:I love to ride, my goal is 20,000 a year. I have owned 60 or so bikes and I think I enjoy the hunt for just the right feel and never seem find it for one reason or the other. The next bike on the list is the Moto Guzzi Stelvio NTX. I am going to wait till next year when I can find one with a few miles for a great deal.

And if you're serious about the Stelvio, check Fredericksburg Motorsports. A days ride from you and they have an '09 in excellent condition around $8k. I test rode it before choosing the Ten. Previous owner had all scheduled service done at the local BMW shop.
