I'm Bad, I'm Nationwide.
Last night my sena battery died while out and about. So I got to actually listen to the bike for 20 mins. On deceleration I kept hearing a jingle sound. Like a loose heat shield or something along those lines. Having just done an oil change figure I didn't get the skid plate just right on the rear bolt.

Get home and take my foot to kick the skid plate, nope tight. Start looking it over good found the previous owner put a gremlin bell on it!
Now I am 100% non believer in anything supernatural, there are no ghosts gods goblin angels or demons. But even my non believing self wont mess with motorcycle juju!! It stays!

I didn't think i was superstitious but a very close friend gave me a gremlin bell and i thought what the heck why not put it on there. I didn't want to mess with the mo jo. I have had several comments on having a bell on this kind of bike. Usually Harley riders. Yours is the only other one i know of with that on there. I only hear mine when i roll it in or out of the garage.

Part of the juju, it has to be a gift from someone. Mine was from my little sister. A bit worn down having been down low on the Royal Star, replaced the clapper a couple times. Still hangin' in there.

My former Fleet guys initiated me to the bell(s) by putting one on the ST1300. They insisted that they put it on the Tenere after I left.

….maybe we should take time during our rides to listen to what the engine is saying..
I think that I've always felt problems before I've heard them....and, even then, I don't think it's ever been the motor.

Not trying to be negative....but, it's supposed to be mounted as low on the bike as possible. (or so the legends say)

Between my St Christopher medal on the big key chain, the Buddha medallion on the Tenere key and my gremlin bell I think I’m covered.

I have a gremlin bell. Prior to my S10 I had two different Suzuki Cruisers. Mom gifted me a bell when I got my first bike. I don't go into the whole religious thing with angels and whatnot, but I do like the old Egyptian gods in a "my name is close to one of them" kind of way. She found one with crossed ankhs and an Anubis head on it, and it's carried me from bike to bike.

You're supposed to remove it and keep it when you move bikes. It's the "act of love" that keeps the little shits at bay. :D
