I'm 6' and have the standard windshield on a gen 2. What is the general consensus on the winglets and do they work / worth the money?

Mine were very noticeable in smoothing out the airflow. I just installed the Yamaha taller windscreen and it works good as well.

On the Gen 1 OEM tall windshield and side wind deflectors, I had to fix a top spoiler and this substantially reduced wind noise. I admit that the Gen 2 windshields are an improvement on the Gen 1.

They do work, and you can buy them in the aftermarket. Slipscreens makes them, and they're better quality than the OEM jobbers and half the price.

I ran a set of the Slipscreens all the way up to checkout and the cost shipped was $64. Looks like a good deal, especially with all the color choices.

I had them on my Gen 1 2012 and on my Gen 2 2014. They are the first thing I added to both. They are that good.

My problem with them is I cannot lower my windshield. 2014 has 4 positions and I have it on high normally. Off highway want to see closer to me and set the low position. Can only lower one position not 2 or all the way.

I've owned four Teneres now. Not a single one has ever made it out of the dealership without first having those winglets installed. I don't know what its like to ride without them, and don't plan to find out.

There were a few yarns being spun, wasn't there? :)

Like a bunch of old fishermen after a day on the water.
However, some stories are backed up with dents, broken parts, and even ER bandages.

This year I might set-up away from the main crowd so my little generator doesn't draw any ire. Lol
(that fella musta had a hard day)

:D I forgot about that guy. I would rather hear that little generator than the whiskey around the fire pit. Gonna be good! Can't wait

Got a new and improved first aid kit even has a tourniquet not that we'll need it. ???
