That's right. Seven bloody months before we start seeing the S10's delivered here in the states. I thought I could be patient and wait it out, but I'm not so sure about that now. And the frustration isn't going to get any better either. Winter isn't too far away. It's already getting dark outside way too early. Pretty soon I'll get to work in the dark and leave from work in the dark.

Ya. I'm relatively certain someone's going to get hurt between now and May.

Think of it from my perspective .... in 7 months time the bike'll be a year old and I'll be needing something else. ;D

I'm already going to and from work in the dark. Need me heated grips on n everyfink ::)

We are supposed to have a very cold snowy winter in Montana. I hope so, it will make the wait easier knowing I couldn't ride anyway. Sitting on a new bike and doing varoom noises just doesn't do it.

I just returned from the dealer, and left my deposit for a BLACK one---let the wait begin. The dealer ordered a blue one for himself over a month ago, so we will see which one comes in first.

Ugh, winter. It's already cooling down substantially and there were 50mph winds here last night to boot. Sad days ahead...

BTDT. Back in 02 I had a little boo-boo and couldn't ride. To make matters worse I had just bought a new GS Adventure. While healing I went down to the garage every once in a while, sat on the GS and made vroom-vroom noises. Hey, I'm not proud of it, but what's an ol' boy supposed to do?

Hey Jason, just plan to buy one farkle per week, and it will allow you to look forward to something until the ship arrives. ;D I think I've made about 3 lists of farkles already, but figure by May it will be revised many times.

Hey! Not a bad idea at all. I know I'll order some of the essential farkles like skid plate, engine guards, etc. For some of the other stuff I really would like to have the bike in the garage.

Heck, even one per month till it gets here still gives us a nice accessory package!!!

I am still wondering how I will be able to add some Orange to the mix!!! The last several bikes I have owned (and car) has had the Orange Reflective vinyl reflective material on it in some way shape or form!!! I first want to see if a local sign shop can make the square Super Tenere decal with the mountains on it. I also like the Red Yamaha type stripes you all have been talking about.
