Hello ,

wow! great echo. so where do you get your Yamaha super tenere serviced in South Africa? Linex Randburg seem to be a reasonable shop but I'm just wondering if you've got other suggestions.

and parts wise? for small things like electrical connectors and wire harnesses?

and anyone got an ECU flash place to recommend? from what I've read this is quite the thing to do. any experience (long term) after flashing?

As far as I know you're the only person to post from SA. How international are you wanting to go? Well, you need to go international for just about everything for a Japanese bike I guess. Most everybody here is US/North America, UK, EU, and Australia, in that order more or less.

Hi Don. I am not the only Yamaha Super Tenere rider in this part of the world though. Remove the BMW fans and the Super Tenere is a popular 1200 in this part of the world. I will spread the word to other Super Ten riders in these parts and try to get some more input here. Thank you for your reply.

So in case an Saffers decide to make it to this part of the internet jungle I'll keep posting.

Linex Yamaha in Randburg, Malibongwe Drive and off the M1 in Johannesburg are a reputable dealer of Yamaha bikes, boats and jetskis.

I suppose they have a standard to uphold in terms of being a licensed dealership.
