Thinking of using Terry's custom seats for my next upgrade on my 15es bike. I know some of you on the form have used him with success. I have done a search here to look for pictures of his work but haven't had much much luck finding any. If anyone wants to share a picture or comment I would appreciate that.
He is very busy told me I would be sending mine to him in January of 2020.
Thanks for your time.

I wanted to get his seat but decided to use a local guy that was highly recommended. It was ok but I ended up getting an AirHawk and now it is really good. Probably cost me about the same at the end of the day, if I was to do it again I would just go to Terry's.

This is a Steve Gowing custom seat who is out of Fort Collins, CO. He can ship seats back and forth as well. This is an all day comfortable seat for me which is awesome since my tailbone seems to be sensitive. He also did the passenger seat and back rest pads on the top box. If I remember correctly his prices aren't that much more for a completely custom seat than an aftermarket one size fits all seat.

I can send his info if anyone is interested.

I'll bet he could have your seat done before January too.

Quick question folks... anyone find a backrest for the RIDER (not pillion) mountable with the stock seat setup?

I called Corbin and they don't provide a rider backrest even if you buy the full Corbin front and rear... the Sargent seems "universal ", so not sure. The only one that is sure for the moment is RDL...

Hence the question.... thanks for your help!

Picked up a backrest from Utopia, well made and install is straightforward.

i sent my seats off last week to Terry's. i was slated to send them in the beginning of Dec but got an email a couple weeks ago stating that some people had adjusted their schedule and to get the seats to them asap. I'm looking forward to getting them back!

Pretty pleased with my Bill Mayer seat. It doesn't hurt that his shop is here in Ventura either. Very convenient.

THanks @rab474 !! Where is the back rest anchored? Is it connected through the rear seat? Do you have other pics that show the install? Thanks a lot! This looks promising!
Yes on thru the seat to a formed steel power coated brace that is on the top of the seat pan and under the seat foam. Suggest looking at Utopia Products website or you tube it to see a number of different installations. Took me about 30 minutes to install, did have an air stapler for reattaching the seat cover.

Was it Chicago that did the seat? Thinking about getting mine done

Yes the Bill Mayer seat does look comfortable. Is Mayer related to RDL ?
I think Bill Mayer Sr. Founded Russell day long and then sold it and started BMS. No connection between them today though.
