I see that a few guys have bought the Terry seat which look like a Russell Day Long seat. I have had the RDL seat and am wondering how the two compare. Anybody had both seats?

I tried a Seat concepts. No better than a recovered stocker I had.. I went with a Terry's seat because of price and he had a core. So there was no down time waiting, who knows how long, on getting my seat back. I got 30K miles on this seat. No squirming. The giant wings on the RDL didn't appeal to me.

Got the seat cover from cool seats. Works great in both hot and wet weather.
As seat cover it distributes weight and prevents pressure points during long rides.
Best farkle on my bike so far, I have no connection to the manufacturer, just sharing experience!!

I've got a cool cover. It works good but an Air Hawk has taken it's place. The cool cover will trap a ton of dirt and grit and grind it into your seat if you don't keep it blown out.

Prefer the CoolCover over other Strap-ons. CoolCover does not slip, keeps the seat cool in burning sun and rinses clean in a second when needed. Next to that it looks really cool, not like an obvious aftermarket “add-on” like other strap-on covers.
But this is just another opinion like all others. I like my bike sharp looking while riding it like I stole it. What a machine it is!!!
