Lees Ferry is a somewhat rustic. . . .The ferry that goes across Lake Powell is from Bull Frog Basin to Halls Crossing. . . .
I know Lee's Ferry well. I guess that makes sense about the real ferry being waaaay up there. I'm still amazed at how low the water level is in Lake Powell. :(

One terminus of the ferry ride leads to Ticaboo. One can ride from Ticaboo on the Burr Trail to Boulder Ut. The Burr Trail is about 40 miles dirt (with a couple possible water crossings depending on the time of year) and ...20 something miles paved, the paved section IMHO is one of the most scenic places in Utah. Also some great camping can be found along the Burr.
Edit to say that on the west end of the Burr Trail, at the VERY end of the road is the Burr Trail Grill.....everyone should eat there at least once in their life!

I just looked that up
It's in the same area as the places I want to see.
There is so much to see in Utah.
Lets do it!
I'll try to get Timebak to ride out with me. [Did you read that Tim?]

I've been trying to read up on interstate travel and it's not very clear on the legality of traveling from here to Utah. Anyone have up to date info about this?

I know Utah, and Idaho (other than SLC) has went from Orange to Yellow stage, meaning that travel is ok. I'm not sure on the other states that you would have to go through. All of Utah's National Parks are supposed to be open.

I've been reading about a lot of folks who are currently riding cross country. Almost all say hotels are no problem, food is no problem (you must eat outside), bathrooms are hard to find, gov campgrounds are rare, stealth camping is as good as ever.
Utah wants you to fill out an online form when you enter the state, I turned my phone off so they couldn't track me..
The NPs are open but campgrounds are still not available.

From what I can find on the internet it looks like the states from here to there don't want me going through on a joy ride.

Utah is opening up. I don’t know about the state’s between. If anyone wants to go, I’m ready to get out.

What can they do but ask you to leave the state? Would not put you in jail as that puts them at risk!

Now having ridden with you on the slab, keep it under limit+10!

Comments anybody?

I think your fine through Colorado. Just a thought if you are worried about it, trailer to Utah (I know you would rather not) claim you're transporting for selling the bike. Summit county and high country ski areas are a little touchy because Colorado's Covid 19 outbreak and higher infection rate started from tourist during high ski season. Fuel and eat in Denver and again over by Rifle or Grand Junction. Big Bob is right no law officer wants unnecessary contact with people minding their own business. Have fun...wish I was a good enough rider to join in.
