Nice! The bike looks great too. ::008::

The current order that came in last Monday has been shipped to everyone that paid. I do still have 2 sets of the 3-Part kit in stock, as well as crash bar bags, light brackets, (small and heavy duty), and a set of rear soft pannier/protection bars. Oh, and an Add On bar for the oem Yamaha bars that replaces the upper hoop with one that has upper side protection. As always, give me a call at 435-817-0809 if you're interested and I take all major credit cards over the phone.

Thanks to everyone!

S10 with Rumbux win fight with deer

Yesterday I was involved in a collision with a deer. While I missed the first one, the second wasn't so lucky.
I hit it square in the neck with the front wheel/fender/upper Rumbux crash bar at 50 mph as it was trying to cross the road in front of me.
The impact turned it parallel with the bike and it then bounced of my pillions leg and jesse side case which likely kept her from more serious injury. I was able to keep it up and we rode the 1/4 mile back to the house.

The bars gave enough to soften the blow and protect the radiator. The left side Jesse bag received a few dings and the mount is bent. Much of the shroud plastic is toast. But the bars and the bag did the job. And some luck too.
I see 6500 in parts alone without taking anything apart so I'm guessing it's totaled as I can't imagine the frame is undamaged.
So Eric, I'll need another set for my red 2015 as I replace my grey 2014.

Yamajet - Glad you rode away from that ok!

FWIW, I can order you a replacement upper crash bars if you want. I do have (1) 3-Part Kit in stock at the moment if you decide to go there now. Otherwise more will be on the way.

In regards to accessories and insurance; Some companies only give you a small amount for accessories on your moto policy, but your home owner's policy will cover pretty much all of your accessories. One of my agents once said to think of it as if you just bought them and they were sitting in the back seat of your car. If you have receipts, all the better. Talk to your agent about this and get all the coverage you can. You certainly paid for it!

I have 3k accessory coverage on my policy. The connection between the upper and lower bar is tweeked so I'm guessing the full set will be required. Hope to get it looked at this week and I'll order up as soon as the numbers are final. Thanks Eric.

@NPJ - I hope I answered your questions via email.

Generally orders take 6 weeks from when I place the order with Rumbux to when customers receive the bars on their doorsteps via UPS Ground from Utah. I do have three 3-Part Kits coming in, hopefully, next week, that are un-sold at this time. The next order is approximately 4-6 weeks out and will also have some un-sold Super Ten crash bars as well as other products for KTM and BMW bikes.

As always, ping me via PM, email at eric.gonedark@gmail.com or call at 435-817-0809 and I'll get you set up or answer your questions.

I'm trying to place orders every month or two, but can't stock much, so also take pre-orders that become orders when my minimum volume is reached. That is 5 sets, fwiw. It takes that to cost out the high airport to airport shipping so that I can still offer reasonable prices to you.

Bumping this thread because I will be putting in a new order early next week. Still running 6 weeks from my order to when customers see their bars on their door steps. The order coming in has taken longer due to an issue with powder coating for orange items. The batch of powder on hand went bad, requiring a new batch to be manufactured, tested and shipped from that company to the outside vendor that does powder coating for Rumbux.

I currently have (1) set of rear protection/soft pannier bars in stock as well as light brackets in both simple and heavy duty 3-piece designs.

The order coming in, hopefully next week has (2) 3-Part Kits for the Super Tenere that remain un-sold.

Also some Rumbux crash bars and rear protection pieces for BMW 650/700/800 bikes and KTM 1190/1290 bikes if you know riders looking for protection on those bikes.

I still have some stock on hand for the KTM 690 as well.

Sorry, I no longer offer the two line kit. I only made one run of those and the potential for them to be installed incorrectly caused too many issues. If you want to make that mod, the simpilist way is to take your front lines off, go to a local hydraulic hose shop and have a set made that meets your needs and how you want to route them. Remember that you must have strain relief for the lines.

Use some cheap tubing to figure out how you will run them to each brake caliper and how long they will need to be. Just mock it up with the tubing and how you will secure them. That will give you a realistic length of each line. Remember to consider what angle the fittings need to be so you can have them in the correct orientation. It usually costs around $200 to have one set made. The junction block that Yamaha uses is proprietary and you'll have to find something that's just close enough to work where the three lines meet and the block is attached to the bracket under the triple tree.

Cheers to Eric!! I ordered a Rumbux 3 piece set for my 2012 ST and 7 days later, from UT to CT, they made it. Haven't had to opportunity to unbox yet, but getting excited to get started on this winter project. Thanks again Eric for getting this African system to the U.S.

Here are a couple pics of the 3-Part Kit I just did in custom Red from the last order. (custom colors no longer offered) Really turned out sharp with the other red accents the owner chose for his white 2013 Super Tenere. I have two sets in stock with zinc phosphate and E-coat only, ready for any custom color to be done local to me. It adds a week or so to the time line, but is only a xx add for cost. I can get some textured colors as well as hammer finish and semi/gloss or full gloss finishes. I can't guarantee a color match, but I'm willing to try hard to match what ever you want to match.
