I'm thinking of using the Mosko Moto mounting wedge system with Rumbux Endurance Rear Protection crash bars. Has anyone used this setup? What's the distance between the horizontal bars on the Rumbux rear crash bars? Thanks.

I'm out of town right now, but will measure the bars in a couple of days and post that information.

I'm not aware of anyone using the Mosko Moto mounting system on Rumbux rear bars. The distance between the horizontal bars is ~8". Between the bottom of the top bar and the top of the bottom bar. So about 9" on center. I see no reason why it wouldn't work fine. Good looking product by Mosko Moto. I hadn't seen their stuff before. ::008::

Great! Thanks much. Will be retiring this summer and there's a new bike in my future. With Rumbux full system and Mosko Moto system as well. I'll touch base later in the year for an order. Can't wait!!
Thanks

Placing a new order on Monday 4/25. I will shortly update inventory with the un-sold kits from the order that just arrived and what's being ordered for the new order. Give me a call or email/pm if you want to order something now. This order should deliver to customers at the beginning of June.

I am now able to order Rumbux protection bars, (full crash bar set and rear bars) for the Honda Africa Twin as well as lower crash bars and rear bars for the Husqvarna 701! Rear protection bars for the BMW R1200GS-LC as well. Let me know what you want to get in on the current order.

There have been some changes with Rumbux in nomenclature and for crash bar bags, materials and trim. The Reflective gray trim for soft products is no longer available, aside from what I show in stock. The heavy Cordura™ nylon has been discontinued and the new soft products are made of a heavy rip stop canvas in charcoal color. I have some on order and will post pictures when I receive them. Ii have been told that the quality is a step up from the previous products, which was quite good, so fully expect the new soft products to be very nice.

What has been called "Crash Bars" will now be called "Protection Bars" The 3-Part Kit is now referred to as the "Full Spec Endurance Protection Bars" but still is the same product that consists of upper crash bars, lower bash frame and skid plate. Rear bars are now "Endurance Rear Protection Bars" but still the same products that accept most brands of soft panniers and Mosko Moto products. Below is a listing of all the hard products and bar bags. Zero indicates no stock on hand. I will change these as stock becomes available, but I can order anything you see below as well as other Rumbux soft products like tail bags, tank bags and handlebar bags. The soft products cost more to import so aside from the crash bar bags, I don't generally stock them, but will order anything if you want a specific item, just let me know.

Rumbux is now offering products for the BMW R1200GS-LC, Honda Africa Twin and Husqvarna 701. Tell your friends.

Eric,

I have the Givi bars and am interested in just the lower Rumbux bars and skid plate. Is that possible, and what is the cost? I would then upgrade to the Rumbux bars at a later date.

Thanks!

That combo has been done before. They share a couple of mounting points, so some choices of which bar goes on the outside/inside will need to be made. I've been told no modifications are required to do this miss-match though. The cost for the Rumbux 2 Part kit, (lower bash frame and skid plate), is $xxx with free shipping.

Unfortunately, when you want the upper bar to match, it will be $xxx for that too, due to the size of the upper crash bars. Being one piece, they cost the same to ship as the full kit. I get billed for over 100 lbs for that size box, regardless of what weight it really is.

Installed a full Rumbux system on my 2016 Super Tenere today. FULL SPEC ENDURANCE PROTECTION BAR/ENDURANCE REAR PROTECTION BARS. Quality exceeded my expectations. And I was expecting a lot. The stock plastic piece was very disappointing. Everything lined up, no bending or adjusting. It just fit! The regular, textured, black powder coat is really nice. Very thick. Communication about the order, great. Works great with the Mosko Moto Backcountry 35 panniers. Thank you Eric. I'm very pleased.

Had forgotten about this plastic, trim piece under headlight. Not found on gen 1 bikes(I guess). Some trimming required. 5 minute job. I used a box cutter blade. Held it with a vise grips, and heated it up. Melted the plastic like butter.

Wow, that pannier setup looks really awesome. I happen to have a brand new set of Rumbux rear protection bars that I need to install plus I have the Mosko Backcountry 35's. These are the pics that I needed to see because I've been wanting to try soft panniers on the ST.
