My cruise quit working and I`ve traced it down to the clutch switch showing closed all the time even when I disconnect it. I've been going through the wiring but I`m unable to get it show open . Any ideas where to look or do I just need to keep going through the wires ? Thanks

Well , that didn't fix it. Went for a ride today and it worked for a little bit. I'll start looking some more.

I bypassed the clutch switch on my Mccruise. Not sure if yours is the same though. The two drawbacks are it will start in gear and clutchin it to kill the cruise is a little delayed. It will cause it to rev up a couple of hundred rpm before it drops to idle. I gonna live with that. No biggie to me. Have you emailed or called Rostra? They may solve your problem. When I called Mccruise. The guy ran me thru some tests. It passed all the tests. He said it wasn't cruise related. I bought 2 new clutch switches. That wasn't the problem. Best luck on gettin it going. Once I tasted the cruise. It would be ruff going without it.

Got it figured out. Brake relay was sticking . Nothing wrong with the clutch wire. It shows hot or closed or whatever with the engine off. Opens when the engine is running.
