I am trying to mount Rigid Industries D2 lights on the Altrider Protection Bars.
...Trying not to mount them on the outside since they could be damaged during a tip-over.
...Don't want to mount them in front of the radiator air inlet for obvious reasons.
...Looking at the area where the Upper bar meets the Mid bar: This has two different angles to mount the Bracket. I am thinking Rubber/Stainless Steel P-Brackets but not sure if this would be a solid mount.
...Where are you mounting your Driving lights?

Did you see where mine were? They're inside the area of protection. LOL, there's very limited areas of straight pipe on these bars.

Stupidly I did not look how you mounted the lights. What are you doing for dinner. Maybe we could meet and I could see the mounts.

I tried the stainless pipe clip route and they're no way rigid enough. You get an almost strobe like effect as you ride

Try the Warn mounts. I have them mounted on my alt rider bars with Rigid lights. No issues.

I've been using Techmount. I like the looks of those Warn mounts, now to find a distributor.

rigid sells different mounts ,their one inch bar mounts work, great... I have two sets of duallys mounted one under head light one on the bars... you will find a spot were the bars come from the engine mounting points as it curves to the out side and begins the side protection, is a spot that the lights will mount. you will see by placing the lights along the bars a spot if the bike is on its side will not directly touch the ground.. I would post a photo but have never figured out how.... carrot has made a few post with my bike in his photos... the right mounts are the important part of this. once you have the mounts you can place them along the bars to determine the spot. and the mounts are not expensive... good luck
