I totally agree with you on this. I have gotten out of several tickets...It has worked the last 4 times I have been pulled over
Not whining, & telling the truth is what got you out of those tickets. Doing those two small things makes you a 1%er. Just sayin'.

Not sure what you mean by 1%er, my understanding is 1%er means gangbanger outlaw crap which I'm definitely not. My incident was a legitimate whoops and I usually don't speed more than 5 over or to keep with traffic, in fact I'm usually more interested in the scenery.

JJTJ2 sounds like he uses sympathy as a tactic maybe that was directed at him I dunno.

I got lots of family in LE and even more prior mil friends who went to LE when they got out. I'm still in at 18.5 years and plan on going to LE when I retire from mil, I tend to obey laws pretty good lol.

That IS one definition. Ask your LE family members....about 1% of traffic stops (or even less) will result in somebody NOT whining or telling the truth. My use of the 1% had no negative connotations. :)
