Just replaced the tea bag. Simple to do, a buddy was a spare pair of hands that made taking the pump housing apart easier.

Mine was moderately dirty, but not too disgusting, on a 14 with 93k kms on it.

Used the R1/R6 ebay filter recommended.

Good write ups, folks. Thank you.

***For reference ***
here is the strainer / filter model number from Quantum Fuel Pump in the States :

I ordered The one from Hongwin and I sure the delivery will be loooooong and contact QFP for the part number and order it also . Hope it will be here FAST ! Seasonnis almost over!

Going to bump this older thread. Did you get the Quantum Fuel filter and if so did it fit well? I uh.... dropped a nut down in my tank and cant get it out so figured may as well replace the filter when i pull the pump.

The Quantum show up earlier so I installed this one but the fit is not perfect. The Chinese version look identical so I’m planning ti replace it soon.
