Hi, okay this will apply to any vehicle but as its about my S10... I have bought a replacement horn, a really loud unmissable monster, but... the standard horn has two connections where as the replacement only has one. There are no instructions with the new horn, I'm assuming I connect it to the live wire but I really don't know. Help!

yes .... the oem horn has two connectors, but if you look at the wires, you will see that one of them is connected to the chassis (-) .... and in the new horn, its body does (-), but if when you screw it, it doesn't have a good (-), you will have to get a (-) from some part of the chassis. Remember that the fuse of the oem horn is small, if the new one has a lot of consumption, it will work for you if you only make small and normal touches ..... but, if you stay stuck to the horn, at a traffic light, behind of a car whose driver weighs 400 lbs and is a “jiu jitsu” champion ..... you probably feel like the fuse burned before you woke up lying on the ground:):)

The answer is in the second foto/drawing on ebay. As expected the bracket is the negative (ground). I dont know if the chassis has enough conduction to function like that. If it doesn't work you can connect the original ground wire to the bracket. Good luck!

Edit: I just saw that it is a 24V horn, our bikes are only 12V. So it won't deliver it's maximum noise.

If you want load I fitted a sound bomb and put the compressor where the tool kit goes easy to fit with it's own plug and play harness, really wakes up drivers not paying attention.

The one thing I liked about my RT1150 was the horn. Hmmmm. . . . I wonder. . . .

Mike, did you get the low or high tone and have you used a relay or is it just plug & play?
It's the low tone, No relay required and fits in the same place as the original.

Had three S10s and transferred the horn from one to another so it's now traveled over 70,000 miles. Never let me down and never blown a fuse.
