Anyone know the size of the rear axle pinch bolt? I'm changing my rear tire and mine is gone ..no doubt because I didn't tighten it when I had my swingarm off recently. I'm going to order an OEM one, but for now I'm just getting one from the hardware store. It'll save a lot of bother if I don't have to buy multiple ones to test out.

8mm allen/socket head cap screw, thread pitch is coarse 1.5 if memory serves. Eyeball the length, it’s an open end.

10x1.25 is pretty common on all motorcycles and four wheelers. Do you have any other bikes or four wheelers lying around you could steal one off of until you get the proper bolt? A lot of the smaller motor mount bolts are 10mm.

It figures. The hardware store doesn't have M10 bolts in 1.25 pitch, only 1.50.
Find a better hardware store! Often found in the small specialty bins. Ace, True Value, etc.

Normally I've found everything I needed at that one...it's an old timey kind of place, with lots of bins of all kinds of stuff. Still couldn't locate the 1.25 pitch.

I am not home so I can't check myself, but steal one of the front axle pinch bolts. Maybe they are the same? No issue running with just one up front, just be sure it is tight.

Lower triple bolt may be the same as well?

Thanks, jrusell...already checked that, just in case. No luck, they're different sizes.

It's not super critical, in any event. It's not holding the wheel on or anything. I got some on order from McMaster Carr.
