Sounds great but I would love to see a picture showing the filler access.
The Givi tankbag that I use uses a ring mount where you just press a button and the tankbag lifts off so I set it on the drivers seat while fueling. At night I carry the bag into a motel or where ever with me. So far I’ve used it for over 50,000 miles with absolutely no issues.

Sure, I'll try and post some tonight. It's pretty simple. Their older version bags had two zippers. This one has one and I find it a better design.

I have Diablo tank bag, Coyote bah and 2x possible pouches instead and also pretty happy with them.
We'll see if I can fit them all o ST as well.

The diablo is going to fit fine. Same harness system.
It's funny you bring up the possible pouches. I just picked up one and now have it mounted under my alt-rider rear luggage plate. I used longer bolts and spaced them with (I think) 5 nuts. It fits perfect in the void and straps to the underside of the plate. I'll try and shoot a photo of it when I take the fuel access photos. Didn't have a chance to get to the garage last night and won't tonight. Will likely be a couple days. :)

Yeah, possible pouches mounts great to my givi side panniers racks when I want to go light,
but coyote bag on ST will be too narrow I am afraid.

What about mounting it more vertical? Like a true saddle back system. I have a Coyote also...but I usually run it on my WR250R....I think it would work strapped to my happy trails SU racks.....but I usually use the RTW bags. Hmmmmm.....

Oh wait....I just noticed you're on a Tenere. May still work though...maybe slide the Coyote back a bit, drop it's wings down where the possibles attach and then attach the possibles to the coyote wings. My Coyote has straps in that place that I usually have a couple MSR 30ml petrol bottles strapped to on my WR250R (in wolfman bottle holders).

Sorry...just thinking outside the box....I love the options with the GL systems.

yeah, GL bags are pretty versatile, but ST has much wider seat though for coyote to fit I guess,
I have coyote is for hard off-road and won't be using ST for that rather.

Nice set-up.
Curious to know what are those black, plastic caps atop the fork pre-load adjustment nut/screw on each side.

It's interesting, on the GL Yamaha facebook page, Harold (GL owner) just posted a pic with the coyote mounted to the back of a super T. You might want to hunt that down. It looks pretty good. It's laying flat and takes up part of the rear rack. hard to describe.

Right on Dan!! Thanks for the detailed pics. I got the magnetic factory Yamaha tankbag (good price on Amazon). While it's been great on the highway, I'm considering dropping the coin on your setup. I have used Giant Loop in the past on my Beta and the stuff is bulletproof. I have the old style Buck N' Roll bags from 2013 on my Beta still going strong. Those straps look really secure that hold the Buck N' Roll and tankbag on.

For anyone that's on the fence on what tankbag to buy, Giant Loop is the gold standard for durability and function. You just have to get past the price.

Hi Chris,

I agree totally! Great products!

My brother has a bit newer version Buck and Roll and the pouches are the same as the one's I purchased.....do those pannier pouches detach from the harness? It's possible all you need is the tank bag and the mount it comes with....
