Hi Rob

Thanks for the response and taking the time to lock. I don’t have a pannier carrier. The main reason I was looking at this was because the exhaust heat cover touches the exhaust right at the end. The protector would help to push it out a bit. I did buy a used one on eBay (for a hex Akra exhaust) but the previous owner had cut the jubilee band so the circumference was too short. R&G don’t seem to specify the supported circumference on most of their protectors.

Cheers
Nick

Nice spot Rob. Looks good but worried it’s fibre glass with a carbon film. It looks like it’s bubbled in one of the photos. Do you think this one would do the job? https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Yamaha-Super-Tenere-2012-2013-12-13-100-Carbon-Fiber-Exhaust-Heat-Shield-Cover-/112537624310?_trksid=p2349624.m46890.l49292
