Want to change my standard halogen bulbs on my 2015 gen2 Tenere for LED

Can I get bulbs that just replace like for like or do I need the extended light caps to allow fitting? Also, anyone recommend some LED bulbs for the S10?
thanks in advance

i suppose you could use these cheaper standard H7 led bulbs as these will fit with your standard cap, but most use the novosight ones

Thanks for that,
One more question! I noticed these bulbs have the built-in fan, are there any issues regarding sufficent ventilation (i.e over heating) even with the extended protective caps?

How many miles so far ?
There definitely has been a lot of discussion on this board about heat causing shorter than normal LED headlight bulb life in Tenere’s , my first set only lasted 10,000 miles but they were rated for 500,000 miles.
I don’t remember the brand of the first set but it was the brand most Tenere owners were recommending back then.
I did buy a new set of the Novsight bulbs a couple years ago but so far have not installed them.

the LEDs are inclosed so heat can be an issue (cyclops are the brand I use but have had a failure a few times ) at 75 dollars a lamp quite pricey to replace , but normal halogen bulbs with good color cost over half the cost of the cyclops and need replacing it seems a couple times a year . so I choose so far to keep using cyclops as I like the light output , but may consider one of the cheaper types based on forum members opinions . the bigger caps do offer more air volume for a light regardless its size so a smaller light behind the extended caps would take longer to get hot as it has more air to heat . so a bigger cap may not help but surely will not hurt.

Both of my cyclops bulb emitters turned brown and dimmed to useless in less than a year. For less than the price of one cyclops replacement I bought a pair of Novsight bulbs instead, they’re going on two years now and no sign of the emitter burning yet.
