I believe it's the right hand side Rob as it would loosen when hit.

bloody bought mirror extentions for a yamaha left and right hand thread, and would you believe it the mirrors on my gen 1 where they
mount with the silver nut in picture are both right handed

It's the thread thay goes into the mount on the handlebars that's left handed. I don't believe the others are.
YEP,

I GOT STRAIGHT PIECES
40mm long to attach to the mirror where that nut in the picture is and got caught out as these are both right handed lol

item below, but you don,t need them left and right handed you need a pair of right handed ones

i have a set of those new umopened lol, but i like the look of those straight 40mm ones, i,ll have to sell
them and get a set of 2 40mm right hand ones

these are the ones i bought, as you need them to be both right hand thread, and they work brilliantly
