Problem is: menu jumps whenever I pull the clutch in all the way. Got to thinking there is no electrical sensor on the clutch why does it cause the menus to cycle. I put my index finger on the menu button and pull in the clutch..... The clutch lever is hitting the button... gotta set the clutch and brake levers to the proper angles as they have been dorked since I got it. Anyway if this stupid bug saves anyone the embarrassment it has caused me it is worth it. I was thinking maybe they designed it so if you pull the clutch ALL the way in you could menu cycle... wow

I think maybe someone assembled it with the perch too far to the inside. Thank you for your information. I've never seen this issue with anyone before.

Probably someone wrongly connected the wires….and plugged the menu button wire….into the place of the second clutch sensor….or they cut wires and reattached them wrong….or they made a jumper to remove the restrictions in gen 1…..and they did it by jumping the wrong wires
