Some first hand experience with this fuel management system I would like to share.

The fueling settings are is adjustable, depending on the type of riding, was really the selling point for me. To overcome that annoying over-lean stock stumble, I'm running at +4% rich which completely irons this out and transforms the bike-especially mid-upwards. Plug and play. Uses the stock ECU map but reports cooler temps which in turn adds fuel. I picked this up in Ireland, not sure what sort of footprint they have in the USA. Sure beats flashing (and probably a lot cheaper!)

Google Foo; About 139. Looks like it's just an air temp tweek device. Adjustable, but does the same sort of thing as that other temp sensor you read about every once in a while, fakes the bike into running richer.

It looks like a Booster Plug type device that changes the voltage from the AIT sensor to fool the ecu that the outside temperature is 20 – 30 degrees colder than it really is. It adds fuel across the rev range at all throttle positions. Thousands of people find that these things work well, even though in theory they shouldn’t because in closed loop the O2 sensors gradually correct the rich fuelling and in open loop all bikes already run too rich as standard. It’s one of those mystery devices that appears to work but defies technical logic!

True, but useful to have certain control...depending on the particular type of riding. For me, the S10 was a daily commuter into the city traffic and the weekends into the hills. That's where the adjustability helped. I thought about a flash upgrade for quite some time but feared if I wasn't happy with the remap, I would be stuck with that. Just a cheaper option that doesn't mean committing to a remap...

Apparently the Powerjet only kicks in when putting on the power (forces an open O2 feedback loop) and reverts to a closed loop at steady speed. This dynamic behavior would negate any need for any self correction when in closed loop.

I have installed the Powerjet to both of my 2012 XT1200 and 2011 FJR1300. It make small effect of smooth up of RPM and sure running rich with smell then before. The cost of Powerjet is XX USD on Ebay.
