Problems shifting - Lube shifter and brake pivot

so, what to do when this does not fix the problem???? i've lubed mine many times but now, freshly lubed it still does not want to down shift.
I'd take it all apart and clean it thoroughly first then lube it, put it back together, and see if you still have an issue. If you do play around with adjusting the pedal.

Can you down shift using the throttle? Back of the gas, "blip" the throttle ever so slightly as you're pushing the shifter down. If it goes smoothly, you know it's not the shifter.
