Eric you've overlooked an important marketing claim in your advertising. Now I understand why when riding my bike in the forest all the deer and wild hogs run away from me. They're afraid of my killer Rumbux. What really makes this so funny is the seller believes it, you can tell from his writing. Lol

http://dallas.craigslist.org/dal/mcy/5838772446.html

Almost $20,000 and countless hours of planning and went into this beauty. I left the engine and powertrain alone, found the factory specs to be more than enough for my needs. Did go through and replace about every other part on the bike though. Has Rimowa manufactured Hepco & Becker panniers all around that pop off with handles like the expensive luggage that they are. The crash bars and skid plates were air freighted in from South Africa by Rumbux, they are designed to deflect Impala and other wild game. Custom heated seat and the list goes on and on. I put this together for my dream trip, made the journey and had two children when I got back. Has sat since, is a crime to let such a nice machine just waste away in a garage so here it is for you. Don't take the hit off buying a new one and then spending thousands to make usable. Buy this and be happy from day one. Listed in all markets within 300 miles, will not last long. Serious inquires only. LOCATED IN OKLAHOMA CITY. NO PAYPAL

Clearly his dream trip sucked. Poor SOB. 5500 miles and soooo clean. I did 8k on my Alaska trip alone and the bike was filthy and showed a lot more dings to the skid plate, bars and the header pipes will never be as clean as that guy's again.

Good marketing ploy, but utter BS. And impalas probably don't deflect much better than deer. Too bad though, that would be pretty awesome. I have bounced a orange highway barrel a fair ways once though. :D

If I can get a couple people on board, I'll place a new order asap.

So, yes, I can get that for you. Price for the 2-piece kit is $500 with free shipping, as usual.

I'm off riding this weekend, (rawhide in Cali). But can take your non-secure information via email now, then finish up next week with the secure information over the phone. Probably tues.

I have another rider on the fence, but I think if you both go in, I can do the order immediately. That means approximately 4 weeks to get your bars.
Thanks Eric. I'll know by Monday if I'm able to pull the trigger on the bike.

What is the weight addition with the Full Rumbux kit. (Not including the read guards)
Yes, if I place an order, I can order anything. This looks like it will happen.

The weight of the Full Spec Endurance protection bars are 23 lbs. I don't recall at the moment if that is with the hardware, most of which replaces existing hardware.

The Full Spec kit is Upper Crash Bars, Lower Bash Frame and Skid Plate. This set runs $xxx with free shipping in the US. So shipped to your North Dakota address, still $xxx USD.

One last quick question.....do you have the upper in Stock now?
I do have endurance upper add on bars for the Super Tenere in stock now. $xxx shipped in CONUS. These fit the OEM Yamaha crash bars, replacing the front hoop with one that has side protection as well as the upper hoop.

are you doing an order soon?
I will be placing a new order next week. I am only ordering pre-sold items, so if you want something, please contact me via email. Email is in the sig line and my profile. PM works too, but I will eventually need your email for tracking info and a receipt if you use CC to pay, so it starts a good conversation that I can refer to later to make sure I don't make any errors in getting you what you want. ;D

Although I have an order in process from earlier this month, I am now building for a new order. The sooner I get a few people on board, the sooner the order gets placed with Rumbux and the sooner you received your bars. Orders are running 4-6 weeks from when I place the order with Rumbux and you receive the bars on your doorstep.
