I'm interested depending on what time of the year. I've done it twice and the Blackflys are unbelievable .

I'm in, I've done it several times. I think its best to go early in June. The bugs aren't as bad and the icebergs are still in the Straits .

Early in June, no mosquitos but temperature is below 0 celsius in the night, you may have snow and icy road, and rain rain rain... I would pick more between beg of July to end of August.

I may be down--how long does it take?
I did the loop from Toronto and back in 10 days and it's mostly paved now and camped the whole way. It's an awful trip if the Blackflys are bad.

I went in early June also but did the Maritimes, NF & then TransLab. Some days were a bit cool but not too bad. Had a great time...

If the timing is right, I've ridden Canada three of the last four summers. Love it up there!

Any problem with flies in June? I've read RR's indicating that they are a hassle in July and the first part of August.
I've done the Trans Lab twice and the Blackflys are bloody awful. They where so bad the one time you just couldn't camp and had to wear a bug net as soon as you stoped.

I might be doing this run in June.

Still moving the pieces of the '2017 riding season puzzle' around. I get a fair amount of vacation, but it's still not enough to ride everywhere.

In the planning stages for the TLH in mid-June. Going clockwise and making it a full loop down to Newfoundland, Nova Scotia and PEI. Budgeting 2 full weeks.
