Looking for recommendations regarding a tried and true portable 12V air pump/tire inflator to carry in my S10’s side case.

I have the tiny Aerostich compressor and it works beautifully and fits under the seat

Personal opinion hand pump is quicker and less bs. I use a floor pump in the garage but have this in my bag.

12v compressor I have used wouldn't have seated a bead and was so slow it seemed useless to me on a bike when a bike pump is 200 times quicker.
Plus me too Kyle!! I also have a few different sizes of C02's. The 12v pumps take too long to fill. I also keep a length good climbing rope. It will seat the bead in a pinch.

If choosing a bicycle pump be sure to select a mountain bike pump. It is designed for a larger volume but lower pressure tire. Road bike pumps are for low volume very high pressure tires.

I have the pancake slime electric pump in the hard shell case. There’s room for plugs, patches and plug tools and packs away easily

I have a bicycle hand pump along with a tire plug repair kit (string type) tucked under the right side panel by the battery. I also carry a DynaPlug 12VDC pump that plugs into the SAE plug I have attached to the battery. I have used both, never had to seat a bead with either so I can't attest to which works best for that.

I used the Slime pump for years and it served me well even seating the beads on 2 tires but the size of the case made things harder to stow and I upgraded to the Touratech model. This thing is tiny compared to the Slime, I hope it works as well.

I bought one of the motpump air shots. Haven't used it yet, but I've watched a friend use his motopump at several rallies, always pumping up everyone else's tires. I keep the motopump, tire plug kit, and some other tools in the bottom of one of my side cases. I have two SAE power plugs attached to my battery. One routed to the instrument panel for phone chargers and other accessories. One SAE plug is attached to the frame so that I can easily hook up jump boxes, pumps, etc.

I believe there is a discount link for advrider members on the advrider site. It dropped the air shot from $60 to $50.

I previously used a foot pump made for motorcycles. It took forever. Last time I seated a bead while offroading my minibuggy, I let my cheap slime mini air compressor pressurize the tire while I smacked the sidewall. It popped on dry, no problems.

I too have the Motopump which I've used lots of times and think it's a great bit of kit. It's a small, effective and the pressure gauge is accurate.

Space Vs cost. I went with the Slime pump for $10 on sale at an AutoZone. Before that I used a $10 Walmart pump that I took out of the plastic housing to make small.

If small size becomes more important to me, I'll look around, but don't think I could justify a $50-$100 air pump, even though I get a good amount of use from my pumps. YMMV

My slime pump blew the fuse on the sae receptacle 10 amp didn’t cover it....
I did the same thing. I went with a pump with alligator clips. As easy as it is to pull the side panel....straight to the battery, and no blown fuses. Put it in a binocular case, and viola'.
