Hi

I'm planning a 3 month trip for next summer, and was looking at used BMWs when they announced the Tenere here in the states. I thought about it for a week, then pulled the trigger and put a deposit for a Raven one. If I pick up the bike in May, I should have about 6 weeks to get it ready before I leave for Alaska....

Anyhow, looking forward to sharing stories and learning from everyone else here about this incredible bike!

Welcome! I think you made a good choice of bike, and the color as well.

As far as Alaska goes, I wish you luck when the time comes. It's a long-term dream of mine to ride there someday, but at this point I would be happy just to hit Canada at some point so I can say I've ridden internationally. 8)
