I can only comment on the skorpions that I had on my verys, they were on maybe 4 months and by the way they were wearing I would of had to replace them with maybe 5000 miles on them, getting much better milage outta my mitas e07 s .

Would like to try these Pirelli scorpion rally str's. Main feature is a dirt tread pattern with a highway V speed rating.
Where can you buy these things?

Yes that is correct, but it is VERY good on tarmac, and when breaking...WOW. you can really stop the bike.
And like many other things, it have to be a compromise. And I like very much, that I'm able to stop the bike fast, if needed
It seems like Pirelli always think more of the tire to "stand firm on tarmac", than how many miles it last.

I have tried MT 90 AT, and this is a good tire to daily commute, and in the weekend also where the tarmac stops.
But don't last more than about 7000 miles (on my previus Transalp,)

Read those reviews too, want to try them.

Pirelli makes the right size for the Tenere, but all I can find are GS and KTM tire sizes.
Are the Tenere STR's imported into the US?

Looks like they're a tube type tire as well... if they were made in our size. :(

"Pirelli Scorpion rally" seems to cover the whole range of tires from dirt knobbies to street tires.

I'm looking for the Scorpion Rally STR. That is a tubeless radial V rated highway knobby.
There is also a bias ply version of that tire with the same rear tread pattern and a lower R speed rating - don't want that one.

Got a response from Pirelli. The radial "v" speed rated scorpion STR will not be available in the Tenere tire size until May 2018 in the US.
