Before I start my own in-house engineering, does anyone make a simple pad that I can attach to the rear OEM tail trunk for the passenger?
I'm talking about something that's easy to install and remove when solo with snaps or even Velcro.
Its a good ride for the passenger but a little padding on there would be nice.
I have been using a piece of foam and a bungee cord but I'm thinking of upgrading my design significantly.
Any ideas? I have the usual "big box" stores near me, I'll be looking at options and materials.

Going to do this also for a trip next week. It's going to be a ghetto backrest though. My plan is to get a thick piece of foam and then cut it myself like a wedge or something. Then I'll have my wife sew a cover on it and secure it around the entire box via some sort of strap.
