I thought we should start a thread to help a company that is selling good stuff for our S10s do well and keep us from buying crap.
Things I have bought.
1. Factory tank bag is perfect.
2. Givi crash bars for the money are great.
3. Parabellum 26" tall windshield work very well
3. Caribou Luggage Systems are best bags I ever owned
4. And last but not least My 2012 S10 you know how we feel about this.

No personal experience with the product, but Tabasco's tank extension looks like the coolest mod out there at the moment.
Having said that though, it's not for me as I dont require the extra range on offer, but I can see him being a busy lad with the service.

Excellent work...

Man that is the one thing I liked about my 2010 GSA lots and lots of gas. Has he priced this tank yet. I need one. PS Greg my wife has family in Perth, its on the trip list next year I think. Cant wait to see the land down under. From what I hear might want to stay.

I have to disagree on the bag. For street only probably okay.
Off road it was all over the place. I kept trying to tighten it to no use.
It would flop from one side to the other. The little protection cover at
the snap area always gets caught in the snapper.

I use Altrider crashbars. Tested serveral times :-[. I'm happy with those so far.

I may start sniffing around for a different tank bag. I like the little side pouches
like on Wolfman bags.

Wolfman Tank Panniers - never been off the bike, love em.
Giant Loop Fandango tank bag - the only downside is the map pocket leaks.
Giant Loop Great Basin bags. I wish I would have discovered this product earlier.

Feeling a little dense. What company are we discussing? Is there a reason we can't mention their name?

I mentioned every company I bought things from.
I need to add First gear heated gloves and jacket. I am in my 3rd season with this set up. I had a problem with one glove not heating, the customer service is fantastic and they replaced the gloves no ? asked. warr for life.

I'll vouch for First Gear. When my Euro-made gear finally needs replacement, I'll look to them first (no pun intended). I used to roll them together with Tourmaster, but when I had a chance to look at some of their clothing at Skagit Power Sports I was impressed with the quality. They made the Tourmaster stuff look like lower-rung Chinese-made clothing...very noticable difference

I own a few jackets and pants from Firstgear and Tourmaster, they all are a few years old now and the Tourmaster stuff is holding up better than the Firstgear. The Tourmaster gear is showing NO signs of fraying, loose threads or broken zipper pulls can't say the same for the Firstgear.

Interesting. I also have a friend who owns a lot of First Gear stuff and swears by it. In contrast, he has the Tourmaster Synergy heated jacket and has to keep re-enforcing the weak spots as they come loose.

Maybe it all depends upon who they are sourcing from at any given time. Shoot, now you have me re-thinking...might be a good idea to go with Klim or the likes.

I think the Synergy heated gear is a completely different line, I've heard reports of many problems.
One more reason I prefer the Tourmaster is the cut fits my body shape better than the Firstgear does.

I have an older FirstGear Kilimanjaro jacket...about 10 yrs old now, probably 75k miles on it. Other than permadirt, it's holding up very well. Purchased newer versions of the Kilimanjaro, both regular and mesh for winter/summer riding. The quality went WAAAAAAY down between the two. Lots of zipper issues, fraying, failing snaps, velcro dying. Won't be buying another, which is kinda sad as my initial Kilimanjaro is STILL my favorite jacket.

Plus 1 on the old killi jackets. I bought a Killi Air in 06 and it was the best jacket I've ever owned. I would still have it today, but lost a bunch of weight and had to sell it.. :(

Well ain't that a bitch. I'm a Firstgear man too. I'd give them all away to lose 30lbs. :(
