My capacity to buy shit has outstripped my ability tor organize it. War has been declare. Time to get my garage right. The Up side to the virus. I have the time. :)

Christophers shop and physical therapy center opened back up for business!! Almost a month of organizing every single drawer and box!! When You are injured, have time on your hands, and wiped out physically after just one hour of activity, it takes a long time.

I decided to do this because I was doing a simple differential/transmission gear oil change and it took me over 4 damn hours!! I spent more time looking for tools than the actual job. That was the final straw!! I was disgusted with myself for letting my garage get so out of hand. It is now better than I had it when I fabricated back in the 90's. I went back to my Navy CB's "CAN DO" attitude.

I even bought a fancy label machine and labeled everything. It is soooo much easier to work out of my little space now!!

Yeah, but can you find the 10mm socket?

I sure can and that is one of the reasons for organizing!! 8mm, 10mm, 12mm, and 13mm were the hardest ones to find!!

Your tools are waaaay more organized in the drawers than mine. I'm just happy to have them all in the same place now. Here's the outside pics.

Thanks, but not really. The current trend is to make tall shops. Not really sure the why. Mine's about 3'-4' shorter than what everybody else is building. More material, more money. And, it's not like the extra height is enough for a second story or storage. I'm just happy to have concrete to lay on instead of a piece of cardboard on gravel.

I was a cop for 28 years. . . . both of my sons are cops now. . . . I'm proud of the job that I did, and more importantly how I did it. Only recently, I learned that the center two flags are now becoming a symbol of racism. (pure BS) The flag in the last picture is a flag that I found years ago, and noticed just last year. . . . that it's a 48 state flag. . . . made of what appears to be cotton, or a similar material. Don't know where it came from, but I know it's not going anywhere.

Just the average patriotic flag waiver, that loves his country. As I always assume everybody is for their respective countries. :)
Respect.

Ha! You could be right with some of them. Never thought about a lift install; way above my means. But, most of the ones I know, they're just a garage or a man cave.

Just finishing the rebuild of the red boat and been working on houses too much lately so the garage has become the dumping spot. For some reason thought of this thread so took this over my shoulder last night when coming in. Cleaning this up is going to take a while.
