Yamaha part numbers should work at any dealer/online shop. I priced a few accessories at servicehonda.com earlier this year.

Take part "90430-12213", doesn't work on bikebandit, doesn't work on cheapcycleparts, doesn't work on your url servicehonda.com. Does work on stadiumyamaha.com (cheapest so far). highlandsyamaha.com also works, but they charge a little more for my test part than stadiumyamaha.com

Good info Rynn and hopefully as time goes on, there will be more choices!

Have you tried other parts? Something more than a gasket. Also, as with all dealers/online sales, the parts are shipped to them and then to you. Also if the part is back ordered you will be notified within 5 days.
For these and other reasons, I would rather buy from a dealer in my own town(or at least close) :D

But anyway, good luck in your search for more online OEM dealers.

I love my dealer for service, but just hate ordering parts through them. Just so much easier online and have it arrive at your door step. (And not like they are making any money from me on a few washers and bolts). If I could get Yamaha to drop the ST in a box at my door step, I would have done it.

90430-12213 isn't quite a complete Yamaha part number, some of the online lookups are more picky than others.

Try 90430-12213-00 instead. It should work on servicehonda.com, or cheapcycleparts.com. Doesn't work on Bikebandit.com either, but maybe they have not updated their parts list yet.

My dealer has an online parts order site ( www.partspitstop.com ). I've used it many times but now I prefer to order from the counter as they've given me 20% off after the bike purchase.

I use their micro-fiche (is it still called that since it's on the computer?) to find the parts numbers and I bring them to the store.

If you have the Yamaha P/N go to http://boats.net. I have ordered things like filters, crush washers, stuff like that and Yamaha Marine seems to have a different price structure, cheaper and it's the exact part!

(Also this site has very low cost shipping for small items.)

One correction upon further investigation I noticed they added a "Motorcycle" section.

I use yamahasportsplaza. 30% off on online orders. If you live in the Portland, OR area they have a nice pick up option to save on shipping.

I find it's easier and faster and cheaper to order online. By the time I can get to the local dealer when they are open, twice (once to order, once to pick up), I can have the brown santa at my door with a part from an online vendor. They never have anything more complex than an oil filter in stock - I have stopped in and found that even light bulbs and fairing screws need to be ordered. It's not usually worth the trouble.

YSP and the other fellas don't ship to APO, darnit! Guess I'll just wait for Bike Bandit, Dennis Kirk and the likes to catch-up.

Give us a try, we won't let you down.. www.apachemotorcycles.com We have three Yamaha dealerships in the Phoenix area, and we ship UPS.
Our website does not have the Super Tenere part numbers right this moment, but I'm working on it. If you have part numbers you can email me at: parts@apachehonda.com
If this should have been moved to a vendor thread, I apologize. :(
Thanks,
Kyle (Acemoto)

How about "European" OEM parts?
