Not sure how to vote on this one. I usually only ride on weekends, I think a more interesting poll would be to see what percentage of rides someone takes their bike off road. Say if a guy only rides once a month but every ride is with knobbies in mud he is a 100% dirt rider, but the poll would reflect he doesn't ride in dirt that much.

The other thing, what is off road? If it's just on any dirt surface than I'd say 95% of my rides qualify as some off road, but in reality I'd take almost any street bike in most of that terrain, so I'm hardly a hard core dirt rider (at least with the Tenere)

The only question I can answer with a resounding NO is the stuck in the mud option. I've been stuck in axle deep mud enough times on bikes that weigh far less than the Tenere, and struggled to get out, that I have no intention of pushing this bike that far. For those that do, I love the pictures ;)

I've read in other forums that this bike is more street oriented so I refuse to take it off road.
If there is one thing I've learned is that internet knows more than I ever will and people who
post always do from personal experience and 100% know what they are talking about.

If I may caution all Tenere owners to please leave the off road to much more capable bikes
such as any BMW GS series or Triumph D/S models. Thank you.

I had to answer once a week, but really if I go for a ride, I go for a ride.

I bought this bike so I could ride mostly where I want to ride, and that includes dirt / tracks, But I have read that chasing small KTM's may result in damage, so if I see some on the tracks I turn around and go back or hide for a while until they are gone.

I still suffer from lack of talent in this regard but the bike seems to be keen to lead me astray. ::008::

We have some nice forest roads that are a lot of fun. Sometimes they get a little sandy, though. They’re legal roads but they’re not maintained in any way. If that qualifies as offroad, then once a month on average for me. Anything more gnarly I take my KL. :)

Well if dirt roads count, then I voted once a week. Nearly every ride I take I'm seeking out off pavement because this bike is so much fun and the dirt roads are more interesting. I think I'm going to need to find a better tire than the Tourance delivered with the Raven. It's not as big a fan of off pavement as I am.
