I created a dark version of the new forum theme. I suggest all those who switched back to the "Shades of Blue" theme try out the new YST Dark. At some point Shades of Blue will be decommissioned, for support and maintainability reasons.

Is it possible to make all of the writing/typing to be as bright as our replies with the YST Dark? Everything else appears subdued.

I'll keep tweaking it. A lot of it depends on your monitor brightness.

Ok, not bitching / complaining, just wondering. The "non-reply" text is the only thing that is subdued. Pictures, and everything non-text is good to go,

"Non-reply"? Can you show me via a picture? I'm not sure which text you mean.

Can't send a picture right now, but....like what I'm writing right here, "my reply" to your post. It's a nice bright, and easy to read. But, our signature lines....when we joined....how many messages....our location, they're a light blue on a dark blue. Like I said, it's not a big deal, but the bright white is much easier to read.

When the Alert section is highlighted, you can't read much of it due to the color of the font.

Wondering why you call it dark, it sure isn’t dark it’s white.
You need to select the dark theme manually if you want to use it. The selector is at the bottom left of the page. Click on "YST Light" and change it in the popup to "YST Dark."
