Greetings to all, coming to you from sunny San Diego, CA. I have been searching for a replacement bike for my 2005 Triumph Tiger which is turning over 100k miles. A local dealer had a 2013 Super Tenere that had been advertised for quite a while, I usually don't buy from dealers but they gave me a fair deal so I took this beauty home. I didn't do a lot of research about the bike, but enough to know that it's got a good reputation and it should be a solid machine for some fun trips. See you out there on the road less traveled!

Welcome to the forum and congrats on the new to you bike. You know you now have to ride to all those places you have stickers for, right? ;)

Enjoy the bike and winter riding out of SD. No shortage of roads to enjoy from there.

::004:: If you're in San Diego, I'm betting you've already earned the Julian sticker. The roads around there were some of my favorites. ::001::

I removed almost all of the stickers and put them on one of my garage cabinet doors to preserve the bikes history/heritage. I figured it was almost like stolen valor to run all of those stickers, plan to get my own memories on the bike. So far, it could only have a mall sticker and a garage sticker since that's the only places it has been. I'm finishing up my Tiger and want it sold before I start in on the Tenere.

I found out today that the guy who had the bike before me was in one of my riding groups. I don't know him personally, but sort of a friend of a friend deal. Kind of cool, I can get the history of the bike.
