So I got to acting a bit silly on gravel...
Got a bit loose in the back...
Lost it at about 30 mph. Oops. LOL.

No major damage to bike, no damage at all to me (well... Maybe my pride is a bit hurt). The worst part is a nice dent in my left Jesse Bag. Gonna have to beat that back straight with a hammer.

Also bent the foot tab on the kickstand... You know, the part you push with your foot to extend it.

I'm not sure exactly where it's supposed to be.

Can anyone send a pic of it in both up and down position so I'll know how to bend it back??

Much appreciated!!

What Don said. It's likely going to break off if you try and bend it back. BTDT on a Gen I before. I'm assuming you have a Gen I bike. Gen II has an aluminum side stand with a different tab.

Had an "off" on the left side several years ago, and mine bent. Bent it back and forth couple of times and it was gone. You will get use to just using the foot of the stand. And one less thing to possibly snare your pants.

I bent the little tab on the kick stand up into the foot peg during a fall in a creek. I never used it anyway. Was always a pain for me to find. I cut it off as well.
