Just picked up this bike today and was wanting some help identifying the brand of windscreen. I've checked the Vstream website and it doesn't look like those. I can't find any part numbers on it, I took off the Yamaha sticker to see if there was a brand name and there wasn't .

Another question!
I believe that is a Madstaad bracket, can any stock or aftermarket for a Gen1 fit that bracket? The side supports are missing, they have been removed, because I can see where the paint has worn off where the side pieces attach.
Thanks in advance for your help!

Edit: I took it off and found a number for National Cycle KBA39686 Mfg date July 2014

Looks like that bike was raped by the previous owner.
He saw the result of his ”plastic surgery gone wrong” and sold it.
It needs a lot of reconstruction surgery to get it back in shape…
Good luck with the recovery and hope the result is satisfying…

Just curious, what are you referring to?
Are you seeing something in those two pics that I am missing
besides the paint chipping on the Madstad?

Is there something lost in translation or are you just a prick in general?

I am pretty sure that is a Madstad bracket and it will accept any type of windscreen that is specific to a GEN1.
I have a GEN1 ('13) with a Madstad yet I only use a OEM Yammy windscreen.

Thank you!
Not so sure there were side supports on your Madstad as I see that there are side wind deflectors present.
It could have been some other accessory or random bit of kit that was installed.

Thank you!
If you need any specifics on your '12 for getting it in shape or sorted out let me know.
They are great bikes, the Toyota Land Cruiser of the motorcycle universe!
BTW, nice Fizzer in your pic box...

. . . . I've checked the Vstream website and it doesn't look like those. . . .
It doesn't look exactly like the one on the V-Stream page. But it does look like one that has had the "points" sanded down. Serial #N20305

I found the date stamp on it, it's nearly 10 years old, must be an early design. It's got the National Cycle logo on it. It's so dark that I couldn't see it until I removed and flipped it over.
