I toasted my Rumbux lowers last week out in the wilds of WV. They did their job... protected the bike from damage but they valiantly gave up their life in the process. I have explored several options of bending these back and welding in some new steel for a beefy fix, but I have neither the skills nor equipment to do the job as it should be. And hiring that kind of work out is proving to be prohibitively expensive.

So I am getting a new set of lowers and will toss this bent one in the back of the garage where it will gather dust forever likely. Unless... there is some enterprising Tenere rider with a home welding and metal fab shop and a bit of MacGuyver in them who might want to take this great starting point for engine protection and make it into whatever they want.

Pix are below to give you an idea of where the deformation on the bars is located. Kinda hard to see exactly... sorry!

How about $100 shipped?
