This happened for 12 riding days during July 2015 in India on Royal Enfield 'Bullet' 500cc Motorcycles

A GoPro Video (one of gazillion) from Day 6 - when we were deep into 'no roads just rocky trails' territory.

All 'out of the box' rides we do become our memories. Always good to look back on. This ride was one such.
The riding and the natural landscapes we rode through. Would do it again (work and life permitting) in a heart beat.

Looks like a great place to ride.
The Road network is slowly eating into the adventure out there. But there are certain long stretches with glacier melts, flash floods that keep washing away any semblance of a road. Those stretches will be great areas to ride through for quite some time.

Day 9 | July 13, 2015 | Tso Kar to Leh

The ascent to Tanglang La.
Taglang La, [elevation 5,328m/17,480 ft] is a high mountain pass in Ladakh region of the Indian state of Jammu and Kashmir.
Taken by Self Timer with the #SonyA7R placed on the road! What's a Tripod?

That pic requires no words.

Silently it simply says adventure. In the truest sense. Just amazing capture of what had to be an amazing moment.

In these cold winter months, as I crave for some warmer weather to take the ST out, a throwback to my ride in India back in 2015.
