Yesterdy was my birthday, and I got a gift card to the Yamaha Dealer where I am buying my Tenere!!! Yahoo, I got my first accessory, just enough for the headlight protector!!!! One down, several more things to go!!! Ok, so I will be able to order the protector some time soon.

Thanks Swagger!!!! It is funny as my name here is HoebSTER, i have never seen a spelling for my nickname as HOEBY!!! As my middle name, which is a family name is originally HOBART, I have gone by HOBIE most of the time. Since I have had a Honda ST, a Suzuki V-ST rom, and now will have a Super Tenere or ST, that is where the name HOEBSTER has come from.

Thanks for the birthday wish M8!!!

Happy belated birthday HoebSTer. Good to have family or friends that know what you REALLY want for your birthday.

i am going to have to send this acknowledgement out to my wife. She then passed the information to my folks back east in Michigan. My step-mother called the dealer and ordered the gift card. Yep, its pretty amazing to say the least.

Since I will be moving into my first house within a week or so, my inlaws on the other hand got me a shovel, broom, tree trimming sheers, a garden hose and small tree saw!!! Nice things and needed but not like an accessory for an up coming bike.

I would someday like to make my house a place for passing motorcyclists to stop in or stay over for a night at a rate lower than that of a hotel, and better than that of a tent and sleeping bag. Now if i could only pass this idea over the wife we would alll be good.

Does it have a big garage? Maybe this would be an easier sell to the wife... ;)
A couple cots in the corner next to the bikes and we are good to go.

Dafoole,

I thought i was the young pup at 24 when i bought my first Brand New Honda ST1100 and met some of the Owners Group at different places around the country back in 1997. The average age was mid to high 40's!!! Man I was young then!!! Ok, so i still am!!

I meant that in the average age has gone up. I know that is the case with MSTA/HSTA.
