I wish this were a dumb thread title. My cat is a jerk. I have a cat door that goes to the garage for his litter, he likes to go in there and use his slappers on anything that isn't bolted to the floor. Was putting on my Metzlers this afternoon, got the front done, took the rear wheel off and was getting ready to take the tire off when my wife tells me it's time to go to the grocery store. So I drop what I'm doing, go to the grocery store, do that thing, get home, install the new tire. Sit down to put everything back together and Axle nut is missing. The axle nut washer is there. Root around the garage, totally missing. Go inside, and lo and behold the nut is in the basement. Now I realize the washer is missing. Wife starts looking around upstairs, and finds it near the fireplace.
Now he's been known to grab left over wireloom, zipties, electrical splices and leave them all over the house. This is the first metal parts he's stolen. I want to be sure I put the right washer back in place. It seems a bit shorter than the spacer that I remember falling outl and the axle is recessed further into the pinch fitting then I remember it.
